Let’s be honest: building a career is a whole lot easier when you’re doing it with friends. Young Professionals of Central Virginia has been offering professional development and networking opportunities to early-career individuals since 2003 — helping nearly 1,000 members springboard into new jobs and major career growth.
With their strong dedication to cultivating a young, vibrant professional community, YPCV is the Lynchburg region’s primary connective tissue for 18-40 year old individuals. Currently the group has more than 200 active members, helping to bridge the gap between you and local employers, regional attractions, and other professionals.
YPCV hosts more than 10 events each year, including YPCV 5:35 — a monthly social gathering and networking event every second Thursday at 5:35 PM. Quarterly professional development sessions are tailored to group interests, while the biggest event of the year, the Level UP YP Summit, delivers a full day of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and workshops on timely topics that matter to your career.
