Give your students a head start on their future careers. Join the Educator Workforce Academy and connect your classroom to the Lynchburg region's key industries.

Bridging Education and Industry

If you’ve ever wondered whether what you’re teaching today will truly prepare students for the careers waiting for them tomorrow, you’re not alone. The Educator Workforce Academy is a dynamic two-day training program tailored for educators in the Lynchburg Region, designed to bridge the gap between education and industry.

Developed from the Regional Workforce Roadmap by the LRBA and regional workforce leaders, the Academy is grounded in a simple goal: align education with opportunity. During the event, you’ll gain a practical understanding of workforce trends, explore the region’s key industries and see firsthand how local businesses are evolving. Afterwards, you’ll have opportunities to collaborate with peers, exchange ideas and leave with a plan to strengthen your curriculum and better support student success.
